| Fall is slowing arriving here. We've had a few crispy mornings, but no frost yet. The rolling hills on my way to work are starting to color up. I just went for a walk with Cadi and on the way back picked these leaves; came in and popped them in the scanner. So these are native leaves picked fresh right heah. Yessuh.

Melissa and I have been fixin & doin in the garden at the Heron. Behind this garden shed is an open space just right for say a volleyball court. But right now there is a large tent there and tomorrow Melissa will have a reception for about 40 Rotary people. Rotary people are folks who know how to rotate; sometimes also skilled at pivoting. This is a pre-dinner thing with horse ovaries and drinks; then they'll all wander over to the Homestead for dinner. Dinner with speeches is cruel and unusual boredom, so I've opted for clean up committee. I have to go the the reception thingy so I can take pictures and make fun of them next week. Documentation. It's hard work but someone's got to do it. | |
