In deep summer there's not much time for writing. Melissa's mom Shirley is the Maine Garden Clubs' gardener of the year.
The Heron has been busy. Some of the Arcady Ragtime Revue performers stayed with us. The director signed the book in Japanese, the producer in Dutch, and one of the pianists in Montreal French. Ragtime is a good time, as they say.
The picture below is from Sister B's profession ceremony. Melissa says there is a special circle in hell for people who irreverently annotate. I hope it has a good selection of colored pens.
