At Forgotten Stoneworks near my workplace in Manchester, it was fun picking each new slate piece to complete the walkway. Some have quartz lines, one has chunks of fool's gold embedded in it. I'm trying to get creeping thyme to grow between the slates. The walkway with the chair at the end of it is an outdoor room. We have several outdoor rooms. A favorite indoor spot is this rocker in a corner of the porch where I'm writing this and watching the sun set.

Jennifer and Brett's new son, Elijah, was the occasion of the first summer table of the season, many more to follow.
