Headed down the Blue Hill peninsula on Friday to Sedgwick to buy some Deer Isle granite for our kitchen. It is as far as I know the only granite quarried in Maine. Kind of looks like a slice off the top of Cadillac Mountain.
Passed through Searsport where they were having a scarecrow contest.
The light has gotten all slanty. It's a good time to be out on trails. I've been out there using a grass whip to clear growth off the Triplet Park board walk and the bog bridge that connects to Bartlett Shore trail.
