The weekend was defined by three events.
Friday: a great show by the Sweetback Sisters. Made me want to book more bands. Melissa made dinner for the band and the volunteers before the show.
Saturday: A community meal in memory of the tenth anniversary of big fire in Unity that killed 4 people. Elizabeth is the younger sister of the triplets; she was 2 years old then. Now she is 12 and seems just great. She is showing a cousin where her house used to be. Had to be so careful with the family and the reporter. Wanted them both to get what they needed.
Sunday: The Saints win the Super Bowl. The onside kick heard round the world, the timely interception. Jim and Martha, Anders and Alysa watched it here with us. Just an awesome experience. And watching the celebrations for days. And replaying the highlights.
