Watching the snowpack shrink and the lake ice pile up near the shore, finding the odd route that is snow free, busying myself with work and town commitments before the JazzFest trip. Feeling good about the changes in town, including new UBR board nominees, and work for Waldo Trails.

On Easter it's supposed to be spring, but as you can see from the egg hunt photo, there is still a lot of white stuff on the ground. That didn't stop anything; just made for more colorful rainwear and boots. Put up a slideshow here.

Brunch in Belfast yesterday included this fabulous breakfast bruschetta at Delfino's, then a walk along the harbor and across the footbridge in the sunshine. Gear, texture, and new words. Checked out Bahoosh's latest small house, found an open bookstore in Camden and then got the good table by the water for coffee at the deli.

My new ZenBook runs Windows 8 and that seems to be the point where I cannot get ancient tools to work, so I've acquired a few new ones. WebBuilder replaces Homesite which is now "abandonware." Corel PaintShop Pro 6 for graphics. Anything I had a license for on the old box has been installed on the new one. I save receipt emails and licenses forever. I got WowSlider to give me a new version for my old license. NetBeans is my IDE for everything.
