| Fall colors are falling and fading now. The first two weeks in October were peak. When the cyberpals were here we cruised down this path at Jordan Pond in Acadia. So many leaves, so little time.
This past weekend, while taking Timmins to the eye doc eleventy-seven times (for a good time on a Saturday morning, try having your cornea scraped), I took some photos right through the windshield while old one-eye squinted and grabbed the wheel. You wouldn't believe how many times during the weekend, we stumbled into the unfortunate expression "keep your eyes peeled for" something or other. The best views of fall colors were from vantage points where you could see a whole hillside or valley. This pic is from the top of Quaker Hill, just across from the little cemetery/satellite dish cluster, where people in Unity go to commune directly with their ancestors. |

| This week at work I'm helping with recompiling the old COBOL stuff. Some dull doodoo indeed. So lemme know you were here.
