The other evening there was a fog on the lake that did odd things to the sunset. Like make the sun a big fuzzy white ball. Needless to say, the lake is still locked in ice.

Waiting for spring. Those clever BioDiversity People have a webcam near an eagle's nest in Maine, made by a Swiss watchmaker...virtually indestructible...from a web page the biologist can move the eye 360 degrees, zoom to 10x...it has a windshield wiper and spritzer for rain and snow. Right now she is setting on the eggs, and in a few weeks we will see eaglets.
