Melissa attended the ceremony. I went to work that day having missed the first 3 days of the week with undrivable weather and the need to practice retirement. It's only semi-retirement. Starting in January, I'll work 16 hours a week. Then in March I'll probably go to an as-needed basis. There are other important things to be done.

Right now it's about Christmas prep. Melissa is cooking beef roast and a goose. I think we have exhausted all the "your goose is cooked" jokes. The goose is a local one that I must have seen at Abby's place on my way to work since spring. I am culturally compelled to make a sweet potato pie; got some organic garnets for that purpose.
