The Commonground Fair took over our lives for 3 days this past weekend, and we haven't quite recovered yet. Serve breakfast in 2 shifts, clean everything, hop on bikes, go to the fair, drink wine with guests in evening. Repeat until exhausted.
It was strange to watch the hurricane coverage on national news and the internet. It felt like local news. This morning (Tuesday...yeah, I'm running a bit late) an NPR correspondent was reporting from Foley, Alabama. And those pictures of Brunings getting a good washing out by the lake. |
