![]() Melissa has acquired some PhotoShop and Adobe Illustrator skills in her job and for the '07 calendar she will apply the numbers in some fancy PhotoShop way using a grid or whatever. I just give her the pictures. Here's a preview of November '07, taken in November '05 in the alley behind Julie and Aimee's Lakeview home in in New Orleans. Being submerged in brackish water for weeks is not good for bike gears. Here's the November mix. It's been a great year for new music. The ownership of Unity Centre, our wonderful little theater, will soon change hands from the Clifford Foundation to Unity College. I will still promote shows there, but will have to decide whether to stay an independent promoter or act as a part of the theater steering committee which will be a mix of college and town people. I'd be delighted to risk someone else's money. The steering committee organizational meeting will be next week. We'll see how that goes. Just before our septic system ate my end of year bonus, I upgraded my Palm thingy to a T|X, which does wireless as well as bluetooth. It serves as my MP3 player. I can read the New York Times, check my bank account, do email on this little thing when I'm in a wireless environment. When I'm not, I can use it to send & receive text messages. Since I'm not much of a thumber, I can write the text message using Graffiti, then the TX links bluetoothedly with my cell phone which sends the message. The next step is to buy a tiny bluetooth GPS receiver and run the software for it on the Palm, and use it for geocaching. That's why I got it now instead of mid-winter, my usual time for obscessing on shiny techno gadgets. It will take me all winter to make the add ons work. |
