The last week of August was a bonus week of summer with temps in the 90's. Loved it and registered it. If you don't register enough heat during the summer, you resist fall. No, I am quite ready for fall now and it arrived this weekend. Delicious dry cool weather. I spent some thinking time this weekend getting a retirement plan together so I can tell people when they ask. It's a little more than two years away. I would still work a couple of days a week. Why wouldn't I? I like what I do. Still is still moving to me as the song says.
My Sonos show last night was a total joy. Dynamite performance. Big lovefest between performers and audience. Friends Marge and Miff & Jim and Martha joined us for dinner with the band before the show. They covered songs by Rufus Wainwright, Bon Iver, and my favorite, Summertime by Jesca Hoop. Some late night posts on their facebook page (what is the game "sardines" ?) show that they took full advantage of having the theater to themselves overnight. On the September mix more good stuff. |
