Let's eat out on the deck today!
Music helps in the fugue state of winter. Some excellent stuff just out. The Decemberists ("let every vessel pitching hard to starboard lay its head on summer's freckled knees"). Dreamy, mythic stories by James Vincent McMorrow and Iron & Wine. New stuff from old friends Edie Brickell and Julia Fordham. Two cuts by New Orleans bands that don't sound like New Orleans bands. Searching for lyrics online is usually dangerous and trashy, but lyrics.wikia.com is good although you cannot copy and paste from it.

Just to show that our time here has not been wasted, look what you can buy at the meat counter of the nearby Troy General Store.
