in my world

May 23 , 2016

Solar panels are going up this week on our building downtown. Built in 1830, it might be the oldest stick building in town. Wonder if the original builders could imagine solar technology and heat pumps. It's about the 30% federal tax credit and cooling the AirBnB space.

From the apple tree by our walkway, to downtown, everything is blooming like crazy. A buzz of bee sounds should be part of every picture.

Every time I start thinking that I need a new camera, I point the one I have up at something I can barely see and get a shot like the eagle pic. Besides, no camera should be so good that it can't go out in the kayak. For Diane's last paddle (she's retiring to Italy), five of us paddled from the boat launch in town to our dock for snacks, then back. It was about 2 miles one way and felt like 10 miles going back against the wind. Invigorating. I love my kayak.
