About losing the election by 10 votes I feel kind of stupid and generally bad. I can think of eleventy-seven ways I could have gotten a dozen more votes. My email people came through big time, but those who don't really do email should have gotten a call from me on voting day or the night before. That's where I failed. I'm looking forward to visits from New Orleans friends to cheer me up.
I am still active on the committee to find a new town office solution. We have to report in at a special town meeting on June 28. We could get a lot more work done if people checked their email at least daily. If people do email, then you can have a linear meeting. But my fellow townies don't live in the connected world that I take for granted. Melissa made us a docknic on Friday to cheer me up. Here's a couple of other cheery things: Roux and Chai. |
