We got just under two feet of snow in yesterday's blizzard.
Today was dig out of the snow day, clearing the deck and walkways in the bright sunshine, finding the cars and raking the roof. We walked on the lake just before sunset. Maine has the infrastructure for this kind of weather and people know when to hole up inside for a day.
It's Monday now and I have just turned in my nomination papers to run for selectman. You can read my profile here. Sometimes I think of this as running for selectman; sometimes I think of it as getting a lot more people to pay attention.
